I’ve fished this lake for my whole life, and this is only the second Black Crappie I have ever caught from it! What a strange thing

I was really hoping to catch a few Black Crappie today, I had to weed through a lot of little Bluegill before finally getting one

My favorite creek is full of these tiny little Black Crappie

I think I’ve gotten this pattern to the point where I’m happy with it, now its just time to tie up a couple dozen of them and put them to work on bigger fish

This is one of my favorite lakes that I get to fish, it is home to a very large population of both Black and White Crappie. Sadly none of them are particularly big, but they are all a lot of fun to catch!

I took a buddy crappie fishing for the first time, sadly the big crappies were not cooperating. But he did manage to catch his first crappie, so he was quite happy and in my book that made it a great day
