I will always enjoy the challenge of microfishing the Ohio River. The river was flooded and I forgot my wading boots so I resolved to fishing water with much calmer current than I wanted and ended up catching tiny Channel Catfish
I found the perfect current seam and dropped a worm in it and found the usual Ohio River species. They may be little, but they were all fun to catch on 2lb test line
I had a rod cast out to the middle of this river with a big bait waiting for a big Blue Catfish to bite, but somehow this little Channel Catfish managed to hook itself. Only the heavens know how?
