Monday’s are always rough, so here are a few pictures of Biscuit from the adventures we went on last week. We did a lot of exploring around the state during the weekend and found some gorgeous places to hike and fish. She is a great outdoors companion and doesn’t mind the long drives at all. By the end of the weekend we both were totally worn out and ready for some well deserved rest.
I celebrated the end of overtime by going on a long creek wading adventure with my pup this weekend. It was nice to disappear into the woods after living in cubicle for a month. We hiked further than this little hound ever had before. This was first time I’ve worn her out enough that she layed down while we were outside
We hiked and fished for most of the day and I managed to land my 100th species of fish on hook and line. It made for a great end of the month and one very worn out dog
Happy Monday! I find it hard to be very excited to go back to work considering I just worked a 6 day week and am about to do that again. So to make it a little better here are the adventures Biscuit and I got into this last week.
We went on a lot of short hikes after work this week. All the rivers and creeks were blown out so I didn’t fish much, but she very much enjoyed chasing all the ducks hiding in the flooded fields.
We also hiked a lake that boarders a bison farm. She was very interested by all the smells. And once again enjoyed chasing the ducks. I think it’ll be very easy to train her into a duck dog.
We ended the week with this lovely sunset. She got spayed, microchiped and her last round of shots over the weekend. Her previous owner had neglected her health, but she should be back to healthy now. This will be a relaxed week as she recovers
